If it was just that easy
to tell him how much he means to me
there would be no tears
no hurt, no pain, just love
loving him isn't easy at all.

If it was just that easy
to let him know that i care
he wouldn't have to worry about
my heart becoming someone else's
loving him isn't easy at all.

If it was just that easy
to look him in the eye and say 'i love you'
he would say it back with ease
no problems, and honestly
loving him isn't easy at all.

But it that easy
to tell him all these things and make him happy
with nothing but love and care
to worship him as my man and friend
loving him is easy after all.
