You make the world seem less crazy
And make my efforts seem worthwhile
You guide me when the days are hazy
And can always make me smile

Loving you can make me cry
But your spirit can make me dry my eyes
You can make me laugh when I want to die
And no matter what you always take me by surprise

I know that you’re the one that I can talk to
The one who will help me explore the caverns of my soul
And so I’ll say, without any further ado
That in my life I want you to have a starring role

Sometimes I still feel so far apart
From this cruel world that traps me bodily
But to you I will give my heart
Because you’re the one who set my spirit free
