Loving you was never easy.
Loving you was harder than I ever imagined.
Loving you felt nothing like anything I had known before.
Loving you was all I had left to hold on to.
I knew loving you would hurt me,
I knew it might destroy parts of me,
but still, I was willing to be that person.
The person who loved you, even when it hurt.
The person who found happiness in loving you,
even when it cost me my own peace.
Because somehow, loving you had the power to change everything.
And yet, no matter how much things changed,
loving you would never feel the same again.
Loving you was never easy.
