Lucille Poem by Patrick Utitufon

Lucille

My name is Lucille
And I am two days old
I am young and weak of will
And comely I am to behold

If you lead me aright
In futurity
I shall be a star shining bright
For the world to see

But if I am bewildered and led astray
Off the light to toe the wild
I shall worthless be all the way
Such is the fate of a child

Lucille sounds like the short form of LUCIFER
