Luminaire Poem by Philip Vincent Sanders

Luminaire

Rating: 5.0

The night sky sparkles
With the stars so bright
As I gaze around in wonder
At the shiny lights so bright
What unseen events
Happened in the past
Leaving us to stare
Awaiting times to last
Are there people out there? ….
Watching us as well
Waiting for the moment
For us all to tell
Will it be our future?
Will it be the time?
Will it be succinct?
Will it be sublime?

Night remains an eternal mystery. It is indeed the stuff that poems are made of....A lovely write. Kindest regards, Sandra
