Luminosity Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Luminosity

luminosity
echoes from the walls
I can hear you thinking
too loudly, I think
it drills right through
my tired brain

there are flowers
but you keep me waiting
the incredible winds
gush in, a force
my feet feel cold
my ears turn red

let me roll around
don’t forget anything
drag your hands here
I’ve saved this space
for a thing that’s mine
for my thing that’s yours
