Lunar Embrace Poem by Newo Enec

Lunar Embrace

Picture a day worth living and
Picture a way we can all fit into it
Because we've grown up a lot from this
And I know we've learned a lot from this
Bring to though every moment
You had believed life was precious
And burn away the memories of every second
You deemed existence worthless
Let's hold onto a friendship
That hasn't failed or faltered yet
Let's release a mistake
That threatened to devour us
Picture a day when the sun is gently kissing
Our necks, faces, arms
And after, the moon rises full and young
With a primal command
To fall asleep in the white of
A lunar embrace

I love you forever and I give absolutely
No one and nothing the power to break
The infinite bonds of friendship
