Lunar Voice Poem by Oxene Quiles

Lunar Voice

LUNAR VOICE

In twilight's hush, where shadows play,
A moon-like soul, I rise to sway,
Amidst the darkness, doubts did creep,
Yet, I, MacDonald, refused to sleep.

Like lunar phases, my life's been torn,
From new to full, through trials born,
Eclipsed by fears, yet still I shine,
A beacon bright, in life's dark design.

My voice, a melody, pure and clear,
A siren's call, to banish fear,
But jealous hearts, like asteroids cold,
Tried to silence me, with envy's hold.

As moonlight struggles through the night,
I fought to rise, and shine with all my might,
Through veils of doubt, and criticism's sting,
My song emerged, with heart's unbroken wing.

Like moonbeams dancing on the sea,
My music ripples, wild and free,
A reflection of my soul's deep tide,
Where emotions ebb, and passions reside.

In this celestial struggle, I find
My voice, a North Star, guiding my mind,
Through life's turbulence, I hold on tight,
To dreams of fame, and artistic light.

Now, as the full moon claims the sky,
My voice resounds, with a triumphant cry,
Unsilenced, unbroken, and divine,
I shine, a lunar spirit, forever mine
