Lycurgus's Swear Jar - Poem by Mal Sealy

Lycurgus's Swear Jar

Tears alchemical coming of age
Left brains soloist trickster fed
Sworn pained retaliations...
Crying out loud exorcisms.
Dropped Jar emptiness strewn
Tearless expletives forced out
Humours nature coping, connected
Source inhabitants warmly lovingly complicit
Conscious Source swirling pasts remembrance, warmed
Guttural clay fired rebukes, gut born first language.
Ancient Youthful Source within-timeless elicited re-discoveries
