Lying Angel Poem by Aury Cecile

Lying Angel

Rating: 2.0

A lying angel follows me
It is my shadow
Dark and bitter
A lying angel
Whispers my faults in my ear
She grabs them
In her tiny, white fists
And twists them
Around my body
Strangling
A lying angel
Laughs
As I struggle
She teases my hair
And pokes my cheeks
A lying angel
Is my worst enemy
And yet
I still need her here
Because she is part of me
My shadow is
A lying angel
