Mémoire Poem by royston serrao

Mémoire

Its been a year since
I've not seen your face
Memories still so alive
Such a disgrace

Hope you still remember me
When you lay down at night
We both fought to be free
But didn't realise what was right

I still walk the way, we both used to
The crowded street looks so lonely
We could have waited for a moment baby
Until we said goodbye

Distances have grown far
Memories left with a scar
Tommorow, thy will be done
And let my kingdom come.
