Meeting you on that day completely changed my ego
I wondered on that day if you were a Negro
But I knew at first contact that our relationship will be like none before........................
Just like a flower, I watched you grow
To the star you have become today and you glow
For all those years that we have been together, I was glad I made you know...
That deep in me lives a heart that values you more than you will ever know...............................
Remember 4 years ago, i was forced to say bye
Then you had no phone for me to call to say hi
As i left the school compound i thought i would die
Every night i stay by my window and whine
And pray to God to let you remain mine
I thank Him that despite that distance the bond that tied us together still remained strong like numbers 8 and 9....................

Today you have grown and become as beautiful as a goddess
Anytime you are with your friends you make them faceless
Because your beauty camouflages theirs and make all those staring at you look senseless.........................
Your beauty would have made Cinderella proud of you
Snow white would have been jealous of you
The sleeping beauty would have been named after you
And even the princess in ‘beauty and the beast’ would have wished she was you....................................
