Magic Beans Poem by M McParland

Magic Beans

Oh how the magic beans
build such wondrous thrills,
adventures, journeys,
and dreams you never imagined.
Sharpening your minds eye to a keen sense.
More observant and attendant
to all that surrounds,
needing your love and care,
while drifting off having all the time to spare.

Magic beans that shoot so high
to leave that world
a little piece inside of you dies.
For it is magical and profound.
All the thrills you desire and need abound.
Fear not though that even though we can only visit
from time to time,
the day will come
we'll never have to descend leaving
that magical place of paradise.
