Magic Lamp Poem by Laurence Overmire

Magic Lamp

Let your mind go
Along the roads of wanderlust
There'll be a poem kicking up dust
Come to meet you, by the way
Sticking out his thumb and
Offering you a ride

Take a glide, let it slide

A hitchhike on an ambient dream
The air becomes clearer
The higher you go
The view from above
Like a wish
That has to be granted.
