Memphis Merica

Magnolia - Poem by Memphis Merica

I am a Magnolia,
Ornamental beauty,
Yet hidden strength,

Each of my petals,
Holds many secrets,
Sadness, Insanity, Darkness,

I am a Magnolia,
Dying and falling away,
Taken by the wind,

A broken petal,
Floats in the water,

I am a Magnolia,
Dancing in the breeze,
Whirling into insanity,

My petals fall one by one,
Into the dark of night,
I am a Mongolia.
