Making Love With You Early Morning - Poem by RIC BASTASA

you're thirsty for love
and so i give you my body
and you go on top of me
my mind whirls
so consumed
i feel like i am a set of bones
wrangling
outside my flesh
i do not have a soul
i feel like i am just this air
hushing somewhere
imagining a sea
without a shore
