Making Me Fall - Poem by Katherine Bryce

Why does it seem,
Like you’re so far away,
Far beyond my reach,
No reason for you to stay.

Yes I’ll cry,
But because I’ll miss you,
I know its best,
But it’s hard to do.

Letting go of you,
I’ve got to learn how,
I just want to leave,
Everything behind.

Leave you and pain,
Leave love and hate,
But just remember,
How great friends we were.

That’s all I want,
To forget these damn feelings,
I don’t want them anymore,
I don’t want to love you.

Why can’t I throw these feelings,
Out of the window,
Forget the past,
And don’t look back?

That’s all I really want,
To be able to forget,
To never look back,
Feeling any pain.

I don’t want it,
This damn pain,
The hurt I feel,
And this love I have.

Why did it have to be you,
The one I fell for,
The one that would end up,
Making me fall.

I wrote it honestly on how I feel, with hopes that others would relate and truly connect with it... (Report) Reply
