Mama Poem by kennedy musyoka

gave me a reason to face challenges that may be there, you brought me up wen I was down,
gave me lessons on how

held me to your chest,
as an infant the warmth of your hug I felt,
your heart beat I heard,
the sweet rythm-music to my ear,
you might or might not be

but in my heart I know you
