Mother Africa
Far and wide your beauty lies,
Beneath the sun, beneath the skies.
Your body rich, your spirit strong,
A land of laughter, dance, and song.
Your tears flow deep, a timeless stream,
From Nile's embrace to Congo's dream.
From Victoria's waves to Kush's plain,
You gift your children life again.
O Mother Africa, bold and true,
What shall we do if we lose you?
When rivers dry and forests fade,
And silence falls where drums once played.
Where shall we hide from burning skies,
When deserts spread and hope soon dies?
Where will we go, when you're no more,
Your grace forgotten, your heart left sore?
