Mankind To Not-So-Kind Poem by Sagar chainani

Mankind To Not-So-Kind

Rating: 5.0

Meant to build, our clan was born,
Chosen over all, to lead the road.

Decisive courage, pumped in the heart,
To stand to fear, to kill the dark.
Bearer of light, day and night
To walk by faith, to never stop.

Vested in us, such powers,
Strongest of all,
The life to give, but we choose to take,
The time to love, but we choose to hate,
The joy to spread, but we choose the war,
The strength of thought, but we choose the fate.

How we use, the force we own.
Wreck we cause, days to decade,
Forests we kill, ice we melt,
Air he gave, smoke we made.

Triumph we seek, in all we do,
Prize we pay, known to few.
Victory though, isn't in winning,
It lies within, the bond we share.

Time to use, our minds so skilled,
After all, we were meant to build.
