Marry Me? Poem by Joyce Razhalsup

Marry Me?

Rating: 3.0

Hey, hello, hi, that’s all I can say to you.
I wonder, do you think about me too?
I stutter whenever you’re around.
You make me feel like a princess in a gown.
I love the way your hair is just right,
Even when its tousled at night
I swear you’re a dream come true.
I don’t think that I could ever forget you.
Nothing escapes my lips that are meant to mean a thing.
Is it so wrong that I want you to get a ring?
And that I need you to ask me four special words?
Because really, I think they need to be heard.
Get on your knee,
And ask with a plea,
Will you marry me?
