Martin Luther King Poem by Saiom Shriver

Martin Luther King

She fell asleep
listening to Dr King's speech.
His voice rivered into
her ears.

It weaved its way into
her dream
with its reverberating
compassionate stream
and summoned him to appear
framed in his soul's sunbeams.

While his time on earth
was evanescent
and gone are the bubbles
of his effervescence

eternal is his legacy.
eternal is his courage
eternal is his love
Forever with God
his Presence.
