Maryehi Poem by Okoemu Okoemu Okoemu

It was now eternity
since I last seen her,
but I heard her voice
just this morning
to tell me she is coming,
and I caught the happiness
in her voice because
now she knows I am still alive.
I still love her,
It is possible she loves me.
And now,
in less than twenty hours
I will see her.
I have faith that someday
she will truly love me,
that she will reward me for my love,
that she will never judge me,
and that like some angel
she will save me from Hell.
