Masks We Wear Poem by aida melesse

Masks We Wear

Rating: 2.7

Insecurities bring out
the worst of who we are,
We wear our human masks
and pray we won’t be seen.
We blame other people
for what we’ve been hiding
But will always be a time
when we face our own demon.
