Mataal, daru pikar kahi gira hoga,
Gira-pada
Aur tum jo usako daru pila rahe ho
Paisa ke liye, sarkari tax ke liye,
Kaisi tumhari chinta-bhavana,
Kaisa tumhara vichar!

Drunkard, having taken spurious liquor would have been lying,
Lying fallen
And you giving him wine
After taking money, excise duty,
How is your thought and feeling,
How your idea, morality!
