Mathematics,
A subject full of tricks,
Which measures the slope of a peak,
To the depth of a creek.
Tan, sin, cos,
What are they for,
Cosec, sec, cot,
Finally got a reason what for.
Calculus,
Not as easy as minus and plus;
Differentiation,
Itself, A mysterious creation,
With challenging and mind blowing situations.
And, Algebra's x, y, z,
The easiest of all in the web,
No one can ever forget.
Geometry,
With angles and degrees,
Itself a great mystery.
Statistics,
The survival of all,
Mean, median, mode,
Which students treat as God.
Mathematics,
A unique subject,
With summation of fun,
Measures the distance of one's run,
To the angle of the bright sun,
Bringing happiness as the sum is done.
A subject,
Where zero acts like a hero,
Is required by all,
Big or small.
Mathematics,
Being the very essence of one's life,
Without which it's hard to survive.
And with a wide scope,
That is enjoyed by every logical soul.
So practical,
So challenging,
A subject different from all,
Mathematics,
Itself, The Master Of All.
The beauty of Mathematics lies in its accuracy, reliability and versatility. All scientific experiments and studies owe much of their findings to various branches of mathematics. Thanks for this interesting piece of poetry.
