Maths Is My Destination Poem by Nhlakanipho Musa Buthelezi

Maths Is My Destination

I was used to like maths back then
But then I started to doubt our relationship.
Simply because you are the undefined I ever engaged with
You only love those who impassive about you
Those who love for businesses,
Are those you adore the most.

I'm gonna keep climbing to the top
Until my heart beat drops
I promise mama, I'm gonna do it
Because I know I put you through it.

I tried to solve equations.simultaneously
Solving for X but the equations ended up solving me,
With completing the square equally
Y me!
You used axes of symmetry to separate us
It was rough
Nor friction didn't stand on my way
I tried exponentially to draw an increasing love graph
You should had led me Y to intercept
Why not let X equal to zero?

You used cosine to cancel our dates
You used tan to demolish our relationship
Theta was our venue, where we used sin to sign in
But you used trigonometry to trick me
You led me be equal to zero
I tried to find X in the classroom mathematics book,
Simultaneously, trigonometry, up to infinite

It is clear that there's no relationship
Between our thoughts and demands,
I conclude we were not meant to be together
I had failed to prove that X is one of the factors to a successful
Relationship
