Maus Poem Poem by Averie Schneider

Maus Poem

We are a group of Jewish mice, but those Germans treat us like Jewish lice
We have not done anything to them, but all they want to do is condemn
They killed all of our kind and try to make us build out of our time
We were hungry and have no money and those Germans think it is funny
But this won't last for long, because with every beating we become more strong
All of the Jews hope that one day they will burn in hell, and hell will be where they dwell forever
Because with every beating we become more strong, and soon they will be gone
