May Day Poem by Cúcídh Mac Cuagh

May Day

Rating: 2.7

To lay upon the sun-warmed grass,
My head upon your sun-warmed lap,
Your emphatic beauty holds no crass,
Sweet perfection is your naked pap.
The golden radiance of the sun,
Eradicates your tresses dun;
Brilliantly shining, I must say,
I hope no other way to spend May Day.
