Maybe Forever, Maybe Never Poem by kelly Martini

Maybe Forever, Maybe Never

You stand there telling me false lies
I know what you want
I know how you feel,
But you will never ask,
But you keep saying meaninless words
Things that dont matter,
Things that dont make a sound,
You say its for the best
But is it really what you think?
I know you,
Better then most,
Just open your eyes and see,
That what we had,
Was stronger then life,
That even when it all ended
All we could see was each other
That all that ever could be
Was right infrount of us.
That we had all we wanted,
We just had to look inside,
And see,
That we where ment to be togeather
Maybe forever? ?

But who knows,
We messed it up,
No looking back,
No turning back,
This is what we made
This is what we did,
Messing up, a perfect thing
Because we didn't know
We didn't understand
This thing between you and me
Maybe it was never ment to be
Maybe we just messed up the only thing
That was ment to be our paradise
Our section of heaven.
But we lost our luck,
We doomed ourselfs
To an unknown fate
To find another
To replace each other.
