the first night we met
you were so sweet.
so beautiful, so joyful
a delight to meet.

without knowing me
you lent your hand.
i hope in the future
i could be your man.

a pleasure for me
to get to see
your beautiful face
wonderful to me

i think of you in the day
and then in the night
i think of the things to come
if things go right

i know its early
and your just a friend
but theres a feeling i get about you
and i hope it doesn't end

all from the start
i speak from the heart
not to get you to like me
but to get you to know me

i don't expect you to feel the same
but if you do theres no shame
god put you in my life
but he did not explain

so its up to us
to figure out why
i hope its for me
to be your guy

how your still single
is crazy to me
because i think your a angel
maybe sent for me

if this is true
and the girl for me is you
i would finally believe
that dreams may come to
