Maybe One Day Poem by Alfred Ramos

Maybe One Day

Rating: 5.0

It was so long ago
When I entered that black hole
But I remember it like if it was yesterday
Because you see I have only one soul

Yes it could be excess baggage
I been carrying around too long
I didn’t know where to leave it
So I keep dragging it along

I tried to bury it a time or two
Tried to drown it with a beer or three
I tried almost everything
But the pain just sticks to me

Every now and then
I reminisce and have to smile
Maybe you too are suffering
And I hope it stays with you for awhile

Who wants it to be a life sentence
When you give your my heart away
Maybe one day I’ll come to my senses
And let my heart again come out to play

Life is too short to not come out to play mi amigo Alfred. Drop that baggage to heck where it belongs and go and jump in the rain puddles lol. Thank you for sharing your talent with us :)
