Maybe - Only How Poem by Sharon 333

Maybe - Only How

Maybe I should let you go
Maybe I should set you free
Erase my memory from your mind
Forget the day you said you loved me.

Maybe I should let you go
Maybe I should set you free
No more tears, no more hurting
No more nights of missing me.

Maybe I should let you go
Maybe I should set you free
Forget I ever said I loved you so
Forget my face and all the memories.

Maybe I should let you go
Maybe I should set you free
Back to your life without me here
When you could be happy and carefree.

Maybe I could live without you – No heart, no soul
Maybe I could forget your lips on my lips – the feel
Maybe I could forget my skin on your skin – the love
Maybe I could forget what we have – so real.

But there is no way to remove you from my heart – how would I
There is no way to forget your kiss – how do I
There is no way to forget the love – how could I
Our souls are fused as one; we can never part.

We will never be the same,
Our love remains.
