O Anna Niemus

Maypole - Poem by O Anna Niemus

In spring
the trunk of the maple
is a childringed maypole
while in the fall
the maple grove cathedral
has 100,000
stained glass leaf windows
blazing gold and yellow
crimson and orange in the sun.
