Me And My Big Mouth - Poem by Jose Maret

the way it goes i seem to remember
why i could have pretended to touch
the way i seem to understand
tells me why i could have strained to hear
the way my eyes blink in response
i can see a disturbance difficult to point
the way my head goes to a side
seems to say in many a word i couldn't decipher
the way i see things maybe, for once
difficult for me to follow
