Me In There Poem by Afnan Elmhlawy

Me In There

Tired, i really need you, would you refuse me again?
How can I? When i loved you never like i did before, when i longed for you, when i cried over fading memories and feelings.
I was never able to send you a message, i knew well you needed my words, but believe me i was stuck in between not in life and not in death.
How could you do that to heart you know well have desperately loved and cherished every piece of your heart?
How could you ignore my sobs, my tears, my beats, crying every night, dreaming every dream of hugging you deep afraid you would vanish?
I lost them all so instead of forsaking the only pure human being left to stand behind my back, i escaped never to hurt a heart i already know full of pain.
How can you leave my soul when finally you gave me a taste of shelter against fear and hatred?
How can you come back asking me to start again, do you think it is easy to give us a chance after i tried hard to forget every moment of love and passion we shared?
You love me, you keep me deep in your soul, you never can step down on our entangled hearts to give your heart to another new passing one.
Never cry, it will never do, we already know it is us, it is our fate to remain faithful even after years of separation we are still warm, still yearning for our whispering words, to our melting feelings of sorrow and love.
