Me, Now Poem by Ferdinand L Quintos

Me, Now

You saw me sweetly smiling
when we saw each other again

you thought it was love returning,
how wrong, still I feel the pain,

I have to keep a happy ring,
put behind all urge to complain,

I hung my heart with fat string,
around my neck I wear my brain.
