Meaning, Haiku Poem by Mark. A Heathcote

Meaning, Haiku

due to pencil lead
now being shattered, I'm
dulled forever
*

A wavy line
With a pencil, left, then right.
Wow, a love heart.
*

if doodling with a
pencil or pen is your thing;
his is origami
*

the falsifying
of all evidence—the staid
cuckoo's love
*

to help us find our joy
we lit candles on the beach
and watched waves crash
*

we find our joy
in the saddest of moments
being valued
*

What is my purpose?
A backward look in the mirror
How am I still here
*

sonnets with a tune
written in an era of-
iambic pentameter
*

what is comfort
is it an old, worn-out shoe
dogs liking your soles
*

comfort for me
a warm cup of strong, sweet tea
watching the roses grow
*

I note your tears
the crescendo of a storm
the hint of a smile
*

memory has an-
answer for everything—
I can't recall
*

homeward, a storm
topples fir trees, a nesting
site for angry bees
*

journey homeward
a boomerang makes a near
circular flight path
*

homeward some geese
returning honk during the
rush hour traffic
*

we are all dancing
a dance into existence
changing partners
*

classical physics
at a loss, dear, to explain
our entanglement
*

abandoned? no—
the moon shines anyway
that's it's message
*

you sent a message
received and understood
what's not to compute?
*

with noteworthy
durability—the willow often
slightly bends
