Measurement Poem by T.A. Sasi

Measurement

How long shall they remain
lost in each other's eyes?
The sky and the sea.

One day the sky shall surely
lift up fondly, the sea.

And love,
as usual becomes stale with time.

As a punishment
the sky drops the sea
in deserts to suffer solitary confinement.

And
thats precisely
how seas form, at least rarely, in deserts!

You can never measure
the circumference of a silence,
likewise you can never measure
the magnitude of the solitude of the sea! !
