Megiddo Poem by Samantha Bolden

Megiddo

The cat sneezes
And the cupboards are shaking

Blue, deep blue is the
Is the water from the faucet

I bathe in clouds
And clean my eyes

Jewels only have lend the gleam
The sun rejects all plans

Dashed to pieces on a rock
Dreams are sinking

I grief for days gone
They lie heavy-hearted upon graves

Eternal or not eternal...

Clever write enjoyed the images you conveyed Flowed well and as is sometimes the case poems about the everyday can be little gems. I liked your use of metaphors especially 'I bathe in clouds and clean my eyes' One small typo 'Jewels only have lend the gleam' should be Jewels only have lent the gleam or jewels only lent the gleam other wise perfect thanks for sharing
