Melancholy (Shadorma) - Poem by Oskar Hansen

Homesickness
Twenty years away
I dare not
Travel there
A stranger on foreign shores
Who knows me now?

I relate to this. I went 'home' after 20 years away and it was no longer home. It was just somewhere I'd been before, like an almost forgotten girlfriend who has put on twenty pounds, a ring, and kids. (Report) Reply
