Melancoly Of Death

“Wassily Kandinsky
Black like the silence of the body after death, the close of life.”
the melancholy of color
the sound of dying
the reverberation of lost world
black is like silence
or indeed like the body after death
to dream in monochrome
to die in grey
to live without rainbows and dreams
cannot be
the passion of creating diamond studded skies
shooting stars
the love of indigo and sage green
of orange tangy art
when words erase themselves from your mind
if need to touch
love and laugh
leave without trace
then
black is like the silence of the body after death
and the heart still beating
has long since died
then this would be
the close of death
to you and me
my friend
therefore
give me your love
embrace me in the darkest night
call my name in passion and lust
for if I can make you really alive
even for just a fleeting second
just an ever reverberating song
then my friend
life will neither be
black or silent
for you have loved
