Melody Poem by Roark Bartley

Melody

Drops strung together like threads

When peaceful silence rains

You Jazz, you Blues, you Funk

But today you Soul these streets

Your rhythm knows no bounds

But not everyone can hear these sounds

For they have eyes only for that Rock

That rises at the glimpse of twilight

Like Reggae, your presence stirs my might

With rhythmic beats and infinite drops

Surrendering my love to you

As I'd often do with Pop
