Melody - Poem by Sara Jo Andrews

My heart soars in to the clouds,
Every time I hear your voice,
Every time I see your face,
Every time I feel your body.
Don’t ask me why, I only know
That is how I feel with you.
It is hard to explain,
But maybe I will one day.
You don’t have to catch
My heart, while it is soaring in the clouds,
It is already yours,
For as long as you want it.
My words I keep true.
This time around,
Not again will I play the cat and mouse and other foolish games,
That only toys with our hearts and hurt us.
This time is different,
It might be hard to believe it.
I know it is different for I am different in ways.
This poem, this song of words,
Is my melody to you,
To tell you of a story with a true meaning,
My way of telling you, the long way,
That I love you.
