Melody.. Boxers Don't Ever Cry Poem by Randy McClave

Melody.. Boxers Don't Ever Cry

She took a hard right to the chin
She gave out a grin,
Crowing went the hen
She then smiled and got hit again.

She took a left to the nose
She kept up her pose,
Determination in her blood flows
She stayed on her toes.

She then got hit with an uppercut
Strait to the gut,
She landed on her butt
She arose, she didn't give up.

(She had trained months for this bout
In the gym one of her trainers did scream and shout
Many times she wanted to pout
I told her, to ignore the bawl out.)

She got hit with all of her foe's vile
When she had changed her boxing style,
Her opponent became hostile
She then gave out a smile.

She fought with confidence in her sight
She hit with all of her might,
Her opponent was dropped with a right
With a laugh, she had won her fight.

She then got shouted at by her training guy
Mocking and ridiculing her I know not why,
He yelled about her errors and she did sigh
Then I told her, "Boxer's don't ever cry! "
