Mely Poem by Amelia Hammond

Mely

That name was so innocent
I don't deserve that name
It's too innocent, something I don't have
At least not anymore
A blur memory that is deep in my mind
That innocence that will never come back
Mely is so far gone, dead
That is no longer me, never will be
She died with the touch of his skin
The memory only brings back tears
The night he used me, I was no longer
Mely

Life is a sojourn from innocence to experience. But here a pain is ringing. It touched me also. Nice write!
