Memoirs Of Killers Poem by Martin Dyke

Memoirs Of Killers

-
Sam's town
Joy ride;
Confessions of a king.
Believe me Natalie,
Jenny was a friend of mine
When you were you were young.
Flesh and bone
Runaways.
Why do I keep counting
The way it was-
All these things that I've done?
A crippling blow;
Somebody told me
Miss atomic bomb
A matter of time.
Battleborn
Human
On top;
The rising tide;
Losing touch
For reasons unknown.
Deadlines and Commitments:
My list.
Bones.
Heart of a girl.
Daddy's eyes.
Goodnight, travel well
Neon tiger:
The world we live in-
I can't stay
From here on out.
Andy, you're a star-
A dustland fairy tale.
Everything will be alright.
Mr Brightside.
