Memories Poem by Carmen Strawn

Memories

Rating: 1.5

I Remember Rock-N-Roll
And Square Dances In The Street...

Waking Up At Dawn, To Milk The Cows,
Or Planting & Picking Corn & Beans...

The Fun Timesssss Enjoying 'Old Settlers Parades'
The Carnival, Merry-Go-Round & Ferris Wheel...

Baseball Games And The Dunk Machine,
Or A Coin Tossed For Bright Colored Glass...

The 'Lion' Burgers And The 'Sweet' Water Melon;
Fresh Baked Pies, And Home Made Ice Cream...

The Talent Search, And A King & Queen,
Such Fun Times, In A Small Town In St. Charles, Iowa...

Happy 86th Birthday to Our Very Special Dad.
We Wish You Many More Fun Times In Iowa...
