Memories Poem by MeganOlivia Maxwell

Memories

Rating: 4.0

As my boredom lasts I sigh
If only I was sick today
If only I went to a different school
But then I think again obviously god wants me here

As the nagging carries on I wonder
I wish school lasted longer
I wish I was invited out
But then I keep wondering this is what parents do

As I swing on this frame in the shivering cold I remember
the good times at school I loved with all my friends
The exciting new gossip
The smiles on faces
and the enjoyable lessons
I thought 'I am lucky! '

Im still swinging but with a cheeky smirk across my face
I remember the happy moments shared with my mum and brothers
The private jokes
The movie nights
And the special hugs we had
I thought 'I am lucky! '

Bad moments replaced with happy memories
