Memories Poem by Edward Rios

Memories

The wisdom you shared was great.
When you left I was so young to remember your face.

You cared, you loved.
When I needed help, you were there to give me a shove.

So young I was when you left.
Not knowing this would be the last time you would stand by my bed.
